New Cannonball Music Hall Set to Amplify Raleigh's Salvage Yard Development in 2024
The Salvage Yard mixed-use development is set to expand its array of attractions with the addition of Cannonball Music Hall, scheduled to open in late 2024 under the leadership of Grubb Ventures. This new live music venue will enhance the vibrant entertainment offerings at the Raleigh Iron Works District. Cannonball Music Hall will not only provide a performance area and a selection of local beverages but will also offer monthly rental practice spaces for local, emerging bands, as stated in a recent press release. The music hall is designed to accommodate a diverse range of musical styles, including pop, blues, rock, metal, and more.
McKenzie Wilson, the Director of Leasing at Grubb Ventures, expressed excitement about the project in a press release, noting that the addition of Cannonball Music Hall is a significant step in establishing the Salvage Yard and the entire Raleigh Iron Works District as a premier entertainment hub in the Raleigh area. The goal is to create a lively and dynamic community, providing a supportive platform for local musicians and contributing to a flourishing music scene that complements the ongoing development of the project.
Located at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Laurelbrook Street, Salvage Yard is adjacent to the expanding Raleigh Iron Works development. The Cannonball Music Hall will be the fourth establishment in the Salvage Yard, joining other attractions such as Jaguar Bolera's pickleball space, Triangle Rock Club, and the Bond Brothers’ NOCO taproom in the Raleigh Iron Works District.
